Tourist

Embassy is not issuing Tourist Visa currently.

• The Applicant should have a passport valid for at least 3 months from the date of application for the visa.
• Two visa forms (photocopy allowed).
• Two passport-size photographs.
• A Covering Letter from the Applicant.
• Confirmed onward/ return air ticket.
• Onward country visa.
• Yellow fever certificate is required. A Yellow fever vaccination certificate is valid for 10 years, beginning 10 days after vaccination. Vaccination shot to be taken accordingly.
• Proof of sufficient funds.
• Bank statements for the last 6 months.
• Income Tax Returns for last 3 years.
• A valid Polio (OPV) Certificate is required. The dose of OPV should be taken at least four weeks prior to the departure from India.
• Visa issued is valid for 90 days with a maximum stay of 30 days.
• Personal presence of the applicant is mandatory.
• Visa can be extended in Somalia.
• Only single entry visa is issued.
• Processing time is 24 hours.

Business 

• The Applicant should have a passport valid for at least 3 months from the date of application for the visa.
• Two visa forms (photocopy allowed).
• Two passport-size photographs.
• A Covering Letter from the Indian Organization recommending travel and stating the Name and addresses of the Organization to be visited.
• A Letter of Invitation from the Business Associates in Somalia.
• Confirmed onward/ return air ticket.
• Onward country visa.
• Yellow fever certificate is required. A Yellow fever vaccination certificate is valid for 10 years, beginning 10 days after vaccination. Vaccination shot to be taken accordingly.
• Proof of sufficient funds.
